Shiba Inu Puppies — Shinjukawa
Every Shinjukawa puppy is the result of a selection process built up over the years. Both parents must have proven their worth in the show ring: no anonymous dogs here — every one of our breeding dogs, male or female, holds at least one championship title and is tested for hip dysplasia, eye diseases and patella, alongside more than 240 genetic tests to rule out hereditary conditions. When you choose a Shinjukawa puppy, you're choosing a bloodline that holds no secrets for us: we've been working with these lines for 16 years, and we have full genealogical traceability back to each puppy's great-grandparents — a depth of knowledge very few breeders can offer. Not just a pedigree on paper, but ongoing study and verification.
How we select our breeding dogs
Before including a dog in our breeding programme, we take the time needed to show it and verify its morphological and behavioural conformity to the breed standard. Only after earning at least one championship title, and passing genetic tests for the conditions most common in the breed, does a dog become part of our breeding selection — a process that takes not months, but years. It demands patience, consistency and considerable investment, but it's the only way we know to give you puppies that are healthy, strong, and true to the authentic Shiba Inu temperament.
The path to adoption
Anyone who's contacted us knows: we don't sell puppies to the first person who asks. Every adoption starts with a phone conversation — we want to understand who you are, your lifestyle, your expectations, your family situation, and the environment your puppy will grow up in. If the conversation goes well for both sides, you can reserve your puppy. That's when the real matching begins: once the puppies are born, we follow their behavioural and cognitive development to find the personality that best fits your family. This isn't picking a puppy from a catalogue — it's a conscious, deliberate match, aimed at building a bond that lasts a lifetime.

- Registration with the national dog registry
- Health record with vaccinations and deworming
- Health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian
- Genetic and clinical tests carried out on the ancestors (parents, grandparents), viewable on ENCI
- Ongoing support: we're here before, during and after the adoption, to help you and answer any question, any time
Litters
We plan no more than 3-4 matings a year: this choice lets us follow every litter closely, from pregnancy through weaning. During gestation we already apply prenatal stimulation techniques with the mother, and we carefully monitor every stage of the puppies' physical and cognitive development. Experience has taught us this makes the difference.
If you're considering one of our puppies, know that we only accept up to 3 reservations per litter — the Shiba Inu isn't a prolific breed — so we can be reasonably certain of meeting every request and not disappointing anyone.
